Laser therapy
Lasers in dentistry are used in diagnosis and therapy. In our clinic each dental seat is equipped with the surgical diagnostic and therapeutic laser which is used to improve the quality of treatment.
Diagnosis
- Uses the difference in measurement of fluorescence between healthy and diseased tissues.
- The effectiveness of detecting early stages of tooth decay is 90% (test of eye and the mirror 12%, radiology â 60%)
- Detection of tooth decay in early stage allows non-invasive and painless treatment
- Allows to monitor the effectiveness of prevention and hygiene
System ASEPTIM â metoda P.A.D. (Photo-Activated Oral Desinfection)
The ASEPTIM system allows painless, noninvasive and effective disinfection of the hard tooth tissues (eliminates 99,9% of bacteria) using laser light and a special Aseptim solution. According to the research, it is currently the most effective disinfectant in dentistry.
Used in:
- treatment of caries
- disinfection before filling - it protects against secondary caries
- effective disinfection of root canals during endodontic treatment
Therapeutic Laser KEY LASER III
The system contains two types of lasers. The first helps to locate the lesions by the laser beam and the second removes these lesions without damaging the healthy tissues. The uniqueness of this system over others is that it does not cause an increase in temperature and overheating of the tissues, so it comes to rapid healing of wounds.
WyjÄ tkowoĹÄ tego systemu w stosunku do innych polega na tym, Ĺźe nie powoduje wzrostu temperatury i przegrzewania tkanek. Brak powstawania strefy martwiczej (zwÄglenia), dziÄki czemu dochodzi do szybkiego gojenia opracowanych miejsc i ran.
Laser is used extensively in dentistry:
- Sterilization and sterile drying of the tooth surface and root canals
- Removal of hypersensitivity in tooth necks
- Surgical procedures
- Non-invasive laser cleaning of tooth surfaces with gingival pockets sterilization
- Undercutting of the frenulum
- Abscess incision
- effective disinfection of root canals during endodontic treatment
